About Us

A strong history of accuracy and reliability

County Property Searches was established in 1997 with a clear objective: to provide accurate Property Enquiry Certificates supported by a reliable and professional service.

From the outset, accuracy has been the priority. While turnaround times have evolved over the years, we have never compromised the quality or integrity of our reports. That principle remains central to how we operate today.

In the early years, before many public records were digitised, much of our work involved visiting properties and local authority offices to gather and verify information. This hands-on approach helped build the detailed internal knowledge and data resources that continue to underpin our work.

Adapted to modern systems

As public bodies moved towards digital record systems, we invested in the systems and processes required to manage and interpret increasingly large volumes of information. This ensured we could maintain the same standard of careful checking and attention to detail, even as access to information changed.

Still a leading property search provider

Today, County Property Searches provides solicitors and property professionals across Scotland with a comprehensive range of services, including Property Enquiry Certificates, Legal Reports, Deed Plans and supporting investigative work such as title deed and statutory consent searches.

Based in Perthshire and operating throughout Scotland, we continue to focus on delivering clear, dependable property information that supports confident legal decision-making.
